Wrapping up another year in my life. Now officially 29! Having some mixed feelings when I say that. Could relate with Joey’s dialogue “Why God… Why… Why are you doing it to us”.

But yeah, numbers don’t lie. So embracing it and moving on for next chapters.

2k24 is a year to be remembered for many reasons. I broke out of my comfort shell and tried many new things – I’ve learnt juggling, some cooking, attempted GATE (yeah, just attempted), started my own blog, tried new haircuts, went to Spa, got new freelance clients, moved some guitar strings and many more.

Above all, I’ve met some new people in this year. People who should have came long back in my life and some shouldn’t have came at all. But I love them all.

Just had a thought while writing this last post of this year to pen down some of the memories that I have when I try to remember each month of 2k24. As a souvenir to read at my 80s (if I catch up till then).

Jan, Feb – Met childhood friend Krishna in Penang after 11 years, Tried Black Beer at Raia Inn, Convinced Mom to go back to Bangalore, Gate preparations, Wireless Power Transfer for Stratus Automation.

Mar, Apl – Temporary PG stay near Ecity, Fun with my bois, Had traveled 5 times to Chennai in 30 days (kept my word), Found peace in Ecity Flyover rides (Loved Wind on the face), Movie Addiction, Home-made Feni

Jun, Jul, Aug – Joined Actalent. Got to know new colleagues and some frnds (IYKYK), Content creation failed for my blog (Paused it), Pinged her for a help (she was responsive, but no help), Resumed Juggling..

Sep, Oct – Started this blog (Officially, my own), Started learning Yocto framework, Came across her profile (Another her) – Smiled and gave request, Bought PS4 (Finally!), Added some new Cars to my collections (the Toy Collection), Tried Fruit diet for a while, Some Poetry,

Nov – No much response from her..So better moving on, Catching up with Yogi’s love, Finished Watch dogs 2, Resumed Guitar, Started Investment Adviser level-1

Dec – Continued chats, Secret Santa preps, Meet up preps, Failed gift, Mixed feelings, Ignored most of the wishes, Waited and waited for her, Immature B’day I ever had, Getting into Pencil sketches (Terrible idea), In chat with Vimal for next trip

Yeah, now I feel some Pheobe saying,

All this looks like a happy movie coz. I didn’t put up any dark memories that happened this year. Forget the f*cking past but remember the lessons. One such take away lesson is,

“Look at everything you have survived as evidence that you can survive this, too.”

Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Take colour and splash it with the following,

Build your body….Laugh at your mistakes… Fall in love again and again… Skill yourself….Learn a new language… Regret and get a heart break again (the moving on after effects are sooo satisfying)… Collaborate with other writers….Spend money lavishly for your mental peace…Attain Time Freedom…
